Program Description
Public alternative middle and secondary school; School Board of Martin County. An Adult High School Program offers credit courses in standard academic fields. The credits earned may be combined with others from previous high school courses to qualify for an adult high school diploma. One half credit equals 75 hours of classroom instruction. A variety of other programs are also offered at the Spectrum Community School including GED preparation, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Adult Handicapped Outreach program, and Home Health Aide, a 150 hour certification program. Genesis Program is for the prevention of and intervention of juveniles and truants.
