Program Description

The Respite program provides short-term care to children with disabilities. With the help of trained and experienced staff family members have the opportunity to get some relief from the stress and fatigue they may experience in their role as 24-hour caregivers to their child with special needs. Respite services may also include overnight care in the family's home or in an ARC residential facility. The Respite Program enables families to take a few hours off to do errands, spend time with their other children, or just take a break. It is the gift of time.
