Program Description

Provides a five-day residential home and private accredited school for at risk boys. Also works with parents. Boys can be from single-parented, or intact families where the family is experiencing difficulties such as substance abuse, divorce, abandonment issues, behavioral/education problem, prison/jail terms, etc, They become a strong, temporary family role model for the family for 1-2 academic/school years.

Eligibility Requirements and Important Information

For children (ages 7-13) and their parents. The boys cannot have a criminal record, or be on probation from a juvenile justice program. Boys who are rebellious, angry, strong-willed, and self-centered are usually the reasons why boys are placed here by their parents. Parents are required to attend 'Parenting Classes' during the year, and play an active role in the change process that occurs within the family.
