Program Description

The SHIP program provides four kinds of assistance: down payment/closing cost assistance for purchase of an existing home, new construction assistance, assistance for moderate rehabilitation of houses that are structurally adequate for current homeowners, and emergency repair assistance for minor repairs, water/sewer connections and energy efficiency.
