Offers assistance to qualified residential telephone customers, and are designed to ensure that the basic telephone connection (hook-up) and service remain affordable to all residents of FL.

Those eligible for TANF Food Stamps Medicaid Lifeline Eligibility Programs Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Medicaid Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Federal Public Housing Assistance (Section 8) Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program(LIHEAP) Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Federal Public Housing Assistance (Section 8) Bureau of Indian Affairs programs. You may also be eligible for benefits if your household income is no more than 125% of the federal poverty income guidelines. Check with your local telephone company for details.

Other Useful Information

Customers receiving voice-only Lifeline service are eligible for a discount of $5.25 from their monthly bill. Customers receiving either broadband, or bundled voice and broadband Lifeline service are eligible to receive a discount of $9.25 from their monthly bill.
