Program Description
Services are free and designed to support every member of a family affected by cancer. They include:
ACADEMIC TUTORING: Bi-lingual tutoring is provided for K-6th grade
In the subjects of reading, language and mathematics.
CIRCLE OF LIFE: Adult cancer patients with children are
embraced by all of our supportive programs and services.
CASE MANAGEMENT-Advocacy and alliance: Assistance is provided
in all areas of SSI, Medicaid, insurance, food stamps and employment
related concerns. We also establish and manage school and community relationships on your behalf.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Assistance with payment of at-risk accounts that have a direct effect on a child's quality of life or medical condition.
MENTAL HEALTH & WELLNESS: Holistic support in areas of family/work relationships, grief & loss, stress, school issues and medical concerns.

HOST FAMILY: Bringing families together to share their experiences and to gain hope, strength and knowledge from each other.
OUTINGS & ACTIVITIES: Monthly outings and activities that include:
occasion parties, theme parks, area attractions, sporting events,
movies, canoe trips, horseback riding and more to help families
forget about cancer for a while.
