Program Description

Healthy Kids is designed to provide health insurance for families not eligible for Medicaid. Coverage includes doctor visits, immunizations, dental care, emergency care, hospital stays and more. Most families pay just $15 or $20. Full-pay options also are available, making every Florida child ages 5 through 18 eligible.

Eligibility Requirements and Important Information

Florida children from birth through the end of age 18 are eligible for Florida KidCare, even if one or both parents are working. Lawfully residing immigrant children are also eligible for coverage, regardless of their parents's immigration status.
