Program Description

Some Volunteer Activities for Teens: * Assist librarians during busy times * Alphabetize books by the Dewey Decimal # * Straighten books on shelves and furnishings in children's room. * Gather and arrange books for children's book displays. * Prepare craft materials. * Clean book shelves and books. * Provide spontaneous story readings * Assist with set-up and breakdown * Cleaning of children's toys * Computer Coach

☐ Who can volunteer? -- Individuals who are reliable and committed to necessary training. Ability to commit to a minimum of one day per week / two hours per day / six months per year.

Fill out a volunteer application at any Library and return it to the Circulation Desk. The Volunteer Coordinator will contact you. Teen Community Of Service: This is a self-directed volunteer program where teens ages 11 to 18 can earn up to 25 hours of community service each month from April to August! Teen Community of Service helps teens learn about local and national subjects and create projects that give back to our Martin County community.
