Program Description

Provides emergency shelter, counseling and basic necessities to youth ages 10 to 17 who are in crisis. May also serve as an immediate short-term safe haven for children and teens in foster care.---- Incorporates both the following: National Safe Place Program and Street Outreach Program. The Street Outreach program is for 14-21 year olds.

Wave C.R.E.S.T. can provide shelter for up to 6 boys and 6 girls at a time, with an average stay of 10 days-up to 30 days. No current involvement with DCF or Department of Juvenile Justice.
