Program Description
Participants will experience the excitement of learning new skills, the importance of working as a team and the thrill of performing before a live audience. Camp Barn Theater is also designed to promote self-confidence and creative expression while teaching the basic tools of the theatrical trade.
Camp Barn Theater's mission is to encourage development in the young artist through the strict discipline of theater, by exploring the many constituents that make up the performing arts. Linda West, Camp Instructor and Director said, ?The camp will be a hands-on conservatory theater program with which students study directly with established local and national theater professionals. Not only will students study and practice the techniques for the performer, but they will participate in the elements that support the performer and make the theater a whole; designing and management.
