Program Description

The Learning Cove utilizes a traditional yet modern preschool learning model (as opposed to Waldorf, Montessori & Reggio Emilia) so that the transition to public and private school kindergarten is seamless. Due to increased technology in the public and private school settings, The Learning Cove incorporates use of computer tablets for learning purposes in the upper age classrooms. In addition, Dance, Music and Physical Education programs are available to give children a well-rounded educational experience.

4 years of age by September 1 Now enrolling for VPK! Voluntary Prekindergarten or VPK gives children a jump-start by preparing them for school and enhancing their pre-reading, pre-math, language and social skills. By developing the skills children need to become strong readers and students at an early age, children are more likely to be successful in school. VPK classrooms offer high quality programs that include high literacy standards, developmentally appropriate curricula, manageable class sizes and qualified teachers. If you live in Florida and have a child who turns 4 years of age by September 1, your child is eligible for Florida?s FREE VPK PROGRAM.

‣ The school-year program includes 540 hours of instructional time and begins in August. The summer program consists of 300 instructional hours and begins as early as May 1st. ‣‣ ALSO CURRENTLY ENROLLING: Infant Care and Preschool. FREE VPK We enroll children 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are dedicated to help your child learn through creative activities such as art, stories, and play.
