Program Description

The Friends' Book Depot is operated by volunteers with the Friends of the Martin County Library System. ‣It's the largest used bookstore on the Treasure Coast and offers bargain prices on thousands of gently used books, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs. ‣‣All sales benefit programs and materials at Martin County's six public libraries.

Volunteers are also a big part of the story at the Book Depot. In 2018, the Depot was operated by 38 volunteers who logged 4,551 hours of service. The Friends' Book Depot has grown into the largest fund-raiser of the Friends of the Martin County Library System in its efforts to support programming, materials, technology and training at the county's six public libraries.
