Program Description

n-Home Family Services program: Helps to keep struggling families together. Trained family consultants work in the homes of families to enhance parenting skills, make sure children are safe and enable families to solve problems on their own. We are able to work with child behavior problems, teen pregnancy, history of family substance abuse, poor parental supervision, inappropriate/severe discipline, persistent serious family conflict and stress, past/current mental health diagnosis, involvement with the juvenile justice system, disruptions in bonding and attachment between parent and child, documented prior history of child and abuse with either parent the parent child(ren), household management problems, caregiver's negative attidude and lack of knowledge regarding appropriate child developmental norms that leads to unrealistic expectations of the child, child(ren) of parent(s) with established conditions that impact their family's functioning, and a variety of other family stressors that impact the social and emotional health of children.

Someone is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for crisis intervention. Spanish and English Language Available
Eligibility Requirements and Important Information

24 hour Crisis line - in home counseling -Child(ren in the home 0-17 years of age - Goal is to maintain and strengthen family -Child(ren) reside with parent/guardian/adoptive parent or are within 30 days of reunification -Referral agent informed family of Boys Town services AND family has agreed to services.
