Nutrition counseling is often covered by insurance. Please contact your insurance company or benefits plan to find out if you have this coverage. Medicare will reimburse for limited nutrition services, such as counseling for patients with diabetes or kidney disease. Medicare also covers intensive behavioral therapy for obesity.
