Program Description

Every summer Marine First Responders host a Junior Lifeguard Camp for youths 9-14 years old ( *8 years old if strong swimming ability) with a focus on building a strong foundation for water safety, ocean awareness and respect for the marine environment combined with fun activities designed to build confidence, promote fitness and instill core values of teamwork and leadership. Camp activities and curriculum include: open water safety awareness, daily physical and lifeguarding skills, oceanography/environmental lessons, introduction to USLA competition games and water sports such as swimming, body surfing, body boarding, surfing and free diving basic safety. Added benefits include FREE: Junior Lifeguards rash guard, Sailfish Splash day pass, and the House of Refuge free dive trip and museum tour on Hutchison Island.

Join our Sunday clinics Whether you're looking to join us on competition day and get in some reps, get an introduction to the sport of surf lifesaving, or simply enjoy some ocean fun, these clinics are perfect for you. No prior sport or competition experience is necessary, but strong swimming skills are required. Admission Details: Fee: $40 for a 3-hour session. Payment: Zelle fee to Marine First Responders LLC at 772-485-5960 Location: IMPORTANT: Please be advised, camps are held at local beaches. Locations may vary depending on camp dates and conditions. Information will be provided in advance for any changes in details.
