Program Description

This is a child-centered program that provides sequenced learning experiences that foster socialemotional, intellectual, and physical development. Units in the program are centered on an essential question that relates to the theme for that unit. By focusing on essential questions, children are better able to connect their existing knowledge of the world with the new concepts and ideas they are learning at school. Routines at the beginning and ending of each day help children focus on the learning process, reflect on new concepts, and make important connections.

Other Useful Information

For VPK: ‣Cost for the VPK Wrap Around Program is $234.00 per month. The $234.00 is payable BEFORE school starts on August 11th and thereafter must be paid on or before the 1st of each month starting in September and continuing every month through May. (This is a total of 10 payments.) The total cost for the year is calculated ($13/day times 180 days) and divided by 10 to arrive at a constant monthly amount. If your child starts or ends the wrap around program at any time after participating in the program, the total will be prorated based on the number of days enrolled. There is no credit given for student absences, non-school days or school closure due to hurricane or other weather related events. If you provide us with your email address, we will send out reminders when payments are due.
